With a simple glance you would think Kahtcha or Ilya to be a single person, but that's not the case. Born as twins, the two were merged at birth. They are of Lyrian decent; an amalgamation of aquatic and flora life. The two share one body, but are of two minds. While one is active the other is sleeping and neither holds any memory of the actions taken by the other. They communicate with one another through various forms of notes and messages. Due to an experiment that was intended to separate the two Kahtcha is now the embodiment of a sociopath, but his brief time with feelings have left him with memories that allow him to act them out. For the most part Ilya chooses to live as a shadow of Kahtcha, allowing him to determine what path they will take. She is fully devoted to him - nearly to the point of obsession and she can become quite violent towards things that get in his way or likewise take great care with something that is important to him, as the separation experiment left her with all the emotions between the two. Physical Anatomy: While the twins share the same body, the body itself shifts to reflect who is in control at the time. Their musculoskeletal system differs from their humanoid body in the fact they have a root system that spreads out from their hearts, one on the left side of their chest and the other at the right side of their lower back, after forming a protective cocoon. These roots help support and strengthen their core. They are also used to transport and store nutrients and water. Luminescent tribal markings cover their flesh in a mirrored pattern: what Mark's her on the left, would mark him on the right. From their shoulders and lower back sprout camouflage, texture changing vines. The bulbs on the end of the vines can open up and release a hallucinogenic pollen. Tucked into the cheeks of their mouths are venom sacs that can induce paralysis via ingestion or absorption through the skin. When absorbed the paralysis is typically limited to the effected area, while digestion can effect the entire body. Being partially aquatic in nature they have small skin flaps that close over the nostrils and clear films that slide over their eyes. Their fingers and toes being webbed for increased swimming capability.
